Chinatown Attic

This attic opens to the outside on three sides with small cutaway terraces. The space is organized in a way that is unencumbered and flexible, privileging the living area. The new wood roof is visible throughout the house, and the various height constraints became an opportunity to think about custom furniture, lighting and installations.

Eidosmedia Headquarter

The Milan headquarters of an international company occupy three floors of a period building in the center of Milan, extending for a total of 2100 square meters. The challenge lay in giving continuity to the different functions in view of the complexity of the original layout. It was decided to adopt a design approach that called for formal purity and consistency in the selection of materials and furnishings. The simplicity of the rooms was achieved by working carefully on the construction details, allowing the ample plant equipment to be hidden from view.

Paytipper Office

The extensive open space occupies the entire floor of an office building located in Milan’s up-and-coming NoLo district. The internal windows and wood clad walls that separate the individual offices and meeting rooms are placed so as not to impede views across the entire space and to maintain the visual relationship with the city. The large reception desk in stone facing the entrance forms a pivot between the two different wings of the office, and together with the oak panels balances the exacting use of black and white.

Glass Window Apartment

The challenge posed by the desire to preserve the atmosphere and layout typical of the Milanese houses of the 1920s, while at the same time responding to the need to adapt this large apartment to the demands of a young family, is resolved in the linearity of the quadruple living room. To either end of this large space is a custom-made bookcase in iron and wood and a full -height kitchen.
A large industrial window separates the space and a series of recessed light slits emphasizes the continuity. The night area is painted in calming shades of blue, while wallpaper enlivens the master bathroom.

Seaside Villa

The villa of 900 square meters is the result of the renovation and extension of what was previously a school building and is located in a three-hectare park on the western Ligurian Riviera. The building extends over two floors, with the living area on the ground floor, the bedrooms on the upper floor and large terraces overlooking the sea. A tennis court, a children’s playground and an infinity pool were introduced into the surrounding park.
